Our History

Our society is rich in shipping history and memorable golfing battles played out on some of the UK's finest courses.

The history of the society consists of battles between the great London companies playing in friendly competition providing a good opportunity to establish competitive links with the other entrants. We play for a variety of Trophies, many of which have names that reflect Britain's Maritime Heritage. Like these great Shipping Lines who conducted their business in a variety of trades worldwide, the trophies whose name they bare are competed for in a variety of formats including singles, partners and team events.
